I would gladly like to tell you all that many of the companies are starting to put up job offers on all their current websites. Feel free to check out Boeing, Raytheon, Nasa and so on. They have many job opportunities that you guys may apply for. Good luck and will be giving you all more of an update soon

Working

Always dressing to impress will give you brownie points. As I have noticed in the professional field, having a certain dress code makes people respect you. If you are wearing attire that does not fit, people will treat you much differently.

Who's Proposing Ethical Guidelines for Robots

According to IEEE spectrums entries: (Hope you all start to prepare for this new movement)

There’s a lot of discussion these days about how much autonomy a robot should have. Last month’s International Joint Conference for Artificial Intelligence generated discussions on the use of AI in military and security applications. Now a couple of roboticists want to rewrite Asimov’s Three Laws of Robotics for modern applications.

Third thing to focus on when job hunting

Next on the list of to do list:
1. Call only once or twice a week MAX when you are calling to see if you could get an interview
2. Hand shakes do count, make sure you shake hands with a firm grip (but it is not wrestling time)
3. Make sure to walk towards the person who is going to interview you.
4. Dress attire is very important, make sure to dress to impress!
5. Try your best to remember the interviewers name before you leave, so that when you leave you say goodbye "name". (They really like that)

Second Steps When Finding a Job

This is now the second level in which you should be thinking about when searching for a job:
1. You must be creative when creating your resume.
2. When you look at your resume, Do you think you have anything missing? Then have a friend check it over and see if they feel you have something missing in your resume. Usually there is always something missing within your resume that another person will catch.
3. If the opportunity comes, have an industry representative fix up your resume to how they feel they would like it if they were to hire someone.
4. Study and memorize everything that is on your resume because the person who interviews you may ask you questions related to your work experience, and you must be able to answer it within one minute which must be clear and precise
5. Once again have a friend test you to see how well you can describe your experiences and your background.
6. ONE MAJOR FACTOR: Get to the point, do not try to go around questions because it only makes you look worse.
7. Be passionate about the work you are about to do, do not apply to places you really do not want to work at.
8. Lastly apply to every known corporation you would like to apply to. Use every resource you can when applying for jobs.

First Steps When Finding Jobs

First things to think about before you do anything.
1. Research in depth the different industrial corporations that you would like to work with and make sure they have the work related material that relates to your major.
2. Know alot of the background to the company you plan to apply to so that you are well prepared when you try to get in contact with Human Resources within the corporation.
3. Allow yourself some time to practice your presentation skills, to be prepared for any interview type questions so that you would not cause embarass yourself by not knowing how to answer questions they may ask you.
4. Last but not least you will want to create your own resume which I would be glad to help you with if you do not have one already set up.

Ways to get jobs

For all you engineers who are struggling at this time,
We must endure the economic crisis and work harder than we ever worked before. We must learn the secrets to searching for jobs. We must fight for our positions in such a competitive world. If you are one of those who is struggling, I will be providing some key information on what you should do. I will be updating new posts on what you could do to get jobs. Finals are over and Graduation is near

I would like to personally say CONGRATULATIONS to everyone who will be graduating this year. I know many people who will be graduating, including myself, so I would like to hope everyone an awesome summer and hope everyone's dream goal for career searching is provided more as the economy hopefully gets better.
